PPC Engineer

Qualification : BE / B.Tech Mechanical: 4 to 5 years of experience. Diploma in Mechanical: 6 to years of experience.

Job Description:

Nature of Work: Minimum 3 years of experience in Material Planning within a PPC function

1. Knowledge of Sheet Metal Fabrication

2. Knowledge of ERP System. Prefer Solution One.

3. Knowledge of Advance Excel

4. Knowledge of Drawing reading

5. Knowledge of MRP

6. Knowledge of different type of metals, fasteners, paints & powders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare raw material (Sheet metal) requirement and indent based on cutting plan.

2. Prepare raw material (Machine shop) requirement and indent based on production/ sales plan.

3. Prepare wooden pallet and packing material requirement.

4. Prepare paint requirement and forecast requirement.

5. Prepare hardware and bought out item requirement based on sales and production plan.

6. Prepare other long lead item indent based on lead time with respect to customer schedule

7. Daily review meeting with purchase department

8. Weekly Monitoring of material receipt with respect to schedule date of procurement items

9. Intimate to concern persons / department in case any delay (procurement items) with respect to requirement date.

10. Creation of new item code in case new procurement item

11. Review design BOM and prepare material requirement for new product development.

12. Run Auto indent for reorder level on weekly basis (Consumable items)

13. Review and modify reorder level based on consumption (Quarterly basis)

14. Coordinate with design team for new product development and for query in procurement items

15. Coordinate with project team in case any MOQ or late delivery with respect to requirement.

16. Monitoring of inventory level and update record for nonmoving inventory

17. Planning WO wise monitoring by allocating material.

18. Daily meeting with head of material planning.
