    Role & responsibilities
    1. Knowledge of Rolling stock/Equipment mfg/ Sheet Metal Fabrication
    2. Knowledge of Project management fundamentals
    3. Knowledge of Project Planning /MSP
    4. Knowledge of ERP System
    5. Ability to understand drawing.
    6. Experience as a Project Coordination
    7. Able to manage Project of 5 Cr to 50 Cr
     
    Job Profile / Responsibility
    1. Execute Project Management Administrative Task.
    2. Prepare and manage Project Management Document such as the project plan, budget, schedule or scope statement, as directed by the project manager.
    3. Schedule stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
    4. Monitor Project Progress and creating project status report for the Project manager and stockholders.
    5. Support Project Manager and team member to help them to complete project task.
    6. Coordinate with internal departments and various supplier for the flawless execution of the projects.
    7. Report and escalate to manager as when needed.
    8. Prepare the documents and submit to the customer as needed.
    9. Follow up with Internal and External stakeholders for the inputs.
    10. Coordinate with design, production, quality, procurement, and logistics teams for seamless project execution. • Monitor manufacturing progress (fabrication, machining, assembly, finishing) and ensure adherence to timelines.
    11. Maintain RFQ (Request for Quotation) register and ensure timely submission of inputs.
    12. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for raw materials, bought-out items, and subcontracting activities.
    13. Maintain project dashboards, daily tracking sheets, and MIS reports.
    14. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements (railway/metro norms)
     
    Key Expectations
    • Prepare backup business plans.
    • Maintain monthly order backlog.
    • Submit quotations within defined timelines as per RFQ process.
    • Improve customer responsiveness and satisfaction index.
    • Submit customer MIS reports.
    • Ensure on-time development and delivery of new products.
    • Maintain daily project tracking and updated dashboards.
    • Ensure project execution within approved budgets.
    • Ensure timely order booking and track monthly order status.
    • Prepare and monitor OTIF sheets to meet delivery commitments.
    • Resolve customer issues within defined timelines, including on-site support when required.
     
    Preferred candidate profile
    Required Qualifications & Skills
    • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
    • 4 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing project coordination, preferably in sheet metal, fabrication, or railway/metro components.
    • Strong understanding of: Sheet metal fabrication processes (cutting, bending, welding, powder coating) and Aluminium fabrication and interior systems
    • Familiarity with railway/metro project requirements, documentation, and quality standards is preferred.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and project tracking tools.
    • Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong planning, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities.
